The Board of Trustees of the Arab American University held its regular meeting to review the University's administrative, academic, and financial reports, examine its records, as well as discuss the most significant achievements of the past period.
The meeting, held at the University Campus in Ramallah, was chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Majdi Al-Khaldi. Board members in attendance included: Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Laila Ghannam; Dr. Yousef Asfour; Dr. Bara Asfour; Dr. Kamal Abu Al-Rub; Dr. Mousa Abu Zeid; Dr. Dawas Dawas; Major General Ibrahim Ramadan; Brigadier General Mansour Khzaimieh; Dr. Maysoun Ibrahim; and Professor Dirgham Maree. Eng. Zuhair Hijjawi, Professor Dr. Haitham Abu Al-Rub, and Eng. Imad Talhami joined the meeting via Zoom platform.
During the meeting, the Board members discussed future plans related to enhancing scientific research and supporting development projects, which will contribute to raising the level of the educational process and strengthening the University's academic and research standing.
The Board members emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to develop the educational environment and enhance the quality of higher education, in line with the University's mission and vision of academic excellence and community service. They stressed their support for initiatives and projects that contribute to strengthening the University's presence at both the local and international levels.
The meeting also addressed ways to expand academic and community partnerships, contributing to a sophisticated educational environment that meets students' needs and the demands of the labor market.
At the end of the meeting, the board commended the efforts of the University administration and its academic and administrative staff, affirming its continued support for the development and modernization process, which will further enhance the University's distinction.
